Full Moon in Aquarius - August 2022

This is the last Super Moon of the Year  in Aquarius, called the Sturgeon Moon and it will peak  on Thursday, 11th August '22.   

The Sturgeon is a very large fish and prehistoric looking too.   It has not changed much over 100 million years.    You could call this fish a large "Living Fossil".    The tribes of North America knew that in August this fish could be readily caught in the Great Lakes.      It represents incredible strength and symbolises endurance & resilience.  The fish symbol connects us with the Water Element  which means awareness and communication with the spiritual realms.   

Get rid of the dinosaurs in your life by setting your intentions by the power of this Full Moon.   You could even try casting a ritual by writing down on a strip of paper all that you wish to banish from your life.   

You will need a black Spell candle which is a colour that dissolves negative energies,  a fire proof container like a mini cauldron which we do sell, a Pen and 2 strips of paper  and  some purifying incense  such as sage, palo santo, rosemary, cinnamon  and lavender.   Light the candle and incense of choice on your altar and relax and take some deep breaths and as you breath out, see yourself expelling the negativity from your body and aura.  

Chant this Spell  and watch the paper burn with your habit you wish to break.  

"By the Power of the Sturgeon Moon,

By the Power of My Will,

I Banish you from my Life,

So Mote it Be". 

When you banish something from your life remember it will  leave a gap in your daily routine so it is therefore essential to fill this space with a conscious.    On the second strip of paper write in the present tense a new description e.g.  "I am a non smoker"  and repeat 3 times and paste this in your journal and leave it there.  Everyday until the next Full Moon repeat the statement when you wake up and make eye contact with yourself in a mirror as this will strengthen the spell daily.
